Hi All! My daughter and I are new players (April 1st ) and she really wants to decorate on Harvey’s Island with for wedding anniversary. We are traditional players and It’s June 4th and still haven’t had this unlocked for us. We have made sure the version is up to date, there are even wedding items to buy in Nook’s Shopping and we have been able to visit Harvey’s Island just No Reese outside there. Everyday my daughter checks the game and Isabelle has said nothing about a wedding season and no phone call from Harvey. I thought that Wedding Season automatically started June 1st but it’s now June 4th and no wedding Decorating is unlocked for us at Harvey’s. My daughter wants to decorate and collect the hearts so she can get all the wedding items. Please HELP! What are we doing wrong?
I think you have to talk to Harvey outside his home about wedding photoshoots. Then Reese & Cyrus should be inside.
James We saw YouTube videos of them outside but still went inside and nothing.
So nothing like this from Harvey?
If not, maybe it hasn't unlocked for some reason. The title screen should display "1.10.0a" in the top-right corner if the game has successfully synced with Nintendo's servers for the event.
James thanks! It’s our fist time playing this event so it will look different then yours. It should have Reese outside. Our game must not be synced correctly. It doesn’t have the “a” at the end. We have all the wedding buy items in the Nooks shopping though.
James so my husband had to sign in to his Nintendo account for the wedding event to unlock even though our system settings said we were already up to date. Not sure why but he said it had been awhile since he had signed in.
